I am Jeff Homes. I have been researching Holmes families for about 30 Years. In began in search of my own Homes ancestry. My oldest known ancestor is the Rev William Homes of Strabane (1663-1746). It was in search of his ancestry that I began compiling notes on various Homes/Holmes families in Ireland and Scotland. I created this site to share my research in the hopes that it can help others.
