PAUL Holmes of Ballyreagh…do this 18 Sep 1792 make my last will and testament… I bequeath to my son ABRAM 5/-, to my daughter LIDDIA Holmes (otherwise Boreland) one pendulum clock…to my son-in-law John Douglass junior of Clougher 5/-, to my son-in-law Robert Kerr 5/-, to my daughter PEGGY Holmes 20 pounds, to my son-in-law Samuel Stewart and his wife 1/-, to my daughter MARY ANN 20 pounds. To my daughter JENNY Holmes 20 pounds, to my son WILLIAM 5/-, I order my freehold in Ballyreagh to be sold after my death, also my stock and household furniture, and any balance left, after payment of expenses to be divided between my daughters PEGGY, MARY ANN and JENNY and my granddaughter MARY Kerr. If my said three daughters marry with consent of my executors, their dowry is to be paid one year after marriage. If they remain unmarried, it is to be put out to interest…and paid them at heir respective ages of 31 years.
