Raphoe will 21 Jan 1788I James Holmes …. do make my last will and testament…I desire to be buried in the churchyard of Raphoe… I bequeath to my nephew James Holims…this tenement and land that I enjoy in the town of Raphoe … with part of my household furniture and debts due to me by bond…except one bedstead and bedclothes to Moses Willson [Wilson] and my chest to his oldest daughter. To my niece Mary Lindsay alias Simson…to my friend James Cunningham of Raphoe two oldest sons twenty guineas. To my nephew Alexander Holims my outside coat and 2 shirts and to his oldest daughter four yards of broad lining. To the above named Elizabeth Willson [Wilson] all of my pewter…the other half to my nephew TOM Holims and a large pot in Moses Wilson’s possession…to Thomas Wilson, son to Moses Wilson the remainder of my clothes. Exrs – my nephew JAMES Holims of Brohead [Braehead], James Cunningham of Raphoe. Will dated 21 Jan 1788. Witnesses James Stephenson, James Buchanan, Al Stephenson.
